AUDACIOUS SHEET METAL SOLUTIONS BV designs, fabricates and finishes precision sheet metal based solutions for European industrial supply chains, as well as corresponding tubular frames.
Depending upon our customer's needs, we either act as a full service integral sheet metal specialist offering upfront 3 D CAD and ( value ) engineering services, or as a sheer contract manufacturer offering value added services like ( external ) surface treatments and / or electro mechanical assembly tasks.
Our customers are predominantly OEM companies in the Netherlands, the UK and Germany. Where applicable their in between first tier systems suppliers, as well the European transplant operations of overseas American and Asian OEM companies. They are involved in the development and marketing of sophisticated high end capital goods in global markets like the semiconductor industry, medical equipment, food processing equipment, electronics - and telecommunications industry and so on.
Our experienced, highly skilled and customer oriented workforce of more than 80 people, in conjunction with our fully integrated 3 D CAD ( Pro Engineer ) / CAM environment and modern CNC machinery, and supported by state of the art ( web based ) ICT, provide AUDACIOUS and it's partners a competitive edge.
To some of our customers, we are their truly sheet metal competence centre / prescribed supplier because they value our engineering capabilities, impeccable quality standards, short lead times and reliable delivery performance.
Preferably, we are involved throughout the entire life cycle of a product, from it's earliest stage of product creation, through it's design and prototyping, the regular ( high volume ) manufacturing as well as the delivery of spare parts at the end of it's lifecycle.
During the product creation process, on average 70 % of the ultimate product costs are determined. We prefer to assist our customers in the design process, matching their functional requirements with ( our ) state of the art manufacturing practices. Our fully integrated 3 D CAD / CAM environment helps in reducing order lead times, avoiding risks of human error and reducing integral costs.
However, also value engineering projects can still result in 20 % overall savings on costs !
Given the growing interdependencies, we want to be logistically transparent to our customers and business partners. We use a web based multi site location logistical tracking and tracing system to monitor the status of products throughout the supply chain.
More in general, we exploit state of the art ICT technology to the benefit of our customers and business partners.
We use graphical ( constraint ) capacity software for shop floor control and scheduling. Orders can be sent in a fully digital format and imported automatically in to our fully-fledged ERP system, incorporating a graphical capacity planning module for absolute logistical control. Interactive cost estimation and ordering of (relatively) straightforward product geometries is offered.
